AISHK prides itself on providing an inclusive and non-selective environment in which students flourish to reach their full potential and achieve outstanding academic results. Our most recent Year 12 cohort is certainly no exception, with our graduates achieving HSC and IB examination results that are among the best in Hong Kong, Australia and around the world. At AISHK, we define success not only through exam results, but through the course choices and global pathways our graduates benefit from. 

Many students received multiple university offers from around the world and have gone on to study their course of first preference. These outcomes illustrate that graduates leave AISHK as confident young adults who are prepared to venture anywhere in the world, who have the world at their feet as truly global citizens. AISHK believes that in an increasingly globalised world, these factors are equally important and valuable measure of success for students and families.

AISHK is delighted to share key highlights of the outstanding HSC and IBDP results achieved by our Class of 2023!

Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR)

• 98.8 AISHK Highest ATAR
• 88 AISHK Median ATAR
• 81% of AISHK students achieved an ATAR score above 80

International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBDP)

• 89% of IB students surpassed the global average IB points score
• 47% of IB students achieved an ATAR of 90+ (equivalent of 34 points or higher

New South Wales Higher School Certificate (NSW HSC)

• 58% of AISHK HSC entries achieved Band 5 or 6 results
• 40% of AISHK HSC students were listed on the NSW Distinguished Achievers List, recognised as being the best performing students in NSW.
